Britney Not Performing At VMAs

It has been confirmed that Britney Spears will not be performing at this year's MTV Video Music Awards this year.
Spears' manager Larry Rudolph apparently told US radio host Ryan Seacrest that she: "...will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I'm telling you officially and unequivocally."
Rudolph said that contrary to media reports, Britney was actually never tipped to perform. He said, "She's in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and her focus remains on the studio."
Britney is nominated for three awards for her 'Piece Of Me' video. The MTV VMAs will be held on September 7 in L.A.
